Here they meet Kati, Ryan and Rhianna from SAMS, The Scottish Association for Marine Sciences, who take them through everything, from growing baby seaweeds in their nursery to deploying seaweed and its applications to replace everyday less-sustainable items. They also share their journey to finding more sustainable methods of production and how they are using their Seaweed Academy to train and support the expansion and skills development of the seaweed aquaculture industry in Oban and the rest of the UK.

Green Britain TV travel to Yorkshire waste management firm MyGroup to go behind the scenes at one of their recycling plants where hard-to-recycle waste finds a second life. The plastic and textiles are transformed into multipurpose boards, furniture and much more. Emily meets the team before being tasked with creating a colourful design for one of their boards. The family owned company is also running a fantastic community programme in local schools called SchoolCycled, teaching the younger generations the importance and benefits of recycling.
